Of my father pointing out a very simple but large and perfect emerald on a beautifully dressed and handsome woman’s finger on the table next to us in a restaurant. I was about eleven.

Linseed oil and new mown grass; the beginning of the cricket season.

Peach yoghurt and a cup of tea.

As I said, uniqueness of spirit – it should talk to you and flirt.

My wife and family, Kay Kendall, Noel Coward, Oscar Wilde, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Nelson.
